Built from Rudy's Pilots' Abbreviated Checklist (501CL-28) — reference / training tool only. Not for flight dispatch.
Per the checklist's Configuration Codes table (Temporary Change, p.iv–v). If you're not sure which applies to your airframe (early serials depend on Service Bulletin incorporation), check your aircraft's checklist page footers — they print "Configuration AB" or "Configuration AC" directly.
Fills field elevation, altimeter, and OAT on both tabs from the latest METAR, and reports the observed wind for you to convert to a head/tail component. Advisory only — always confirm against your own altimeter and current ATIS before use. Requires a network connection; every field stays editable by hand. A 4-letter ICAO code is unambiguous; some 3-letter codes match more than one airport, and those fill nothing until you narrow them down.
Pressure altitude computed as elevation + (29.92 − altimeter) × 1000 (standard formula, not aircraft-specific data).
Select a Configuration, fill in takeoff or landing conditions, and press Calculate. Results appear here with the exact source page/table used for every number.
